This website sets no cookies and does not track you. The only personal data we receive is what you choose to send us through the contact form or by e-mail.
Who is responsible

Applicable law
As a company established in Dubai, LARFI handles personal data under the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL). For visitors in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies in addition, to the extent it covers our handling of their data.
What we collect
Through the contact and quote form: your name, company, e-mail address and country, the details of your request (product, specification, quantity, Incoterm, port, delivery window) and your message. Our server also briefly keeps a technical trace of your IP address to block abuse (at most five messages per hour).
Why, and on what basis
Only to answer your request and, where it leads to a transaction, to prepare and perform the contract. The processing is necessary to take the steps you ask for before a contract, or to perform it; for visitors in the EU, the same bases apply under the GDPR, together with our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries.
Who receives it
The form sends your message by e-mail to LARFI's mailbox. It is read by LARFI staff only. Our hosting and e-mail provider (Hostinger) processes it on our behalf, possibly on servers outside the United Arab Emirates, for the purposes described here only. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a business relationship are deleted after 24 months. Where a contract follows, records are kept for the period required by law. The abuse-prevention trace of your IP address is deleted after one hour.
Cookies and audience measurement
No cookies. If we measure the audience of the website, we use a tool that sets no cookie and stores no personal data, so no consent banner is needed.
Your rights
Under the PDPL you can ask to be informed about how your data is processed, to access it, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or stop its processing, and to receive it for transfer to another party. Write to info@larfipetroleum.com. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office. Visitors in the EU also have the rights granted by the GDPR, including the right to complain to their national data protection authority.
